Decay removed, molars rebuilt

Decay had taken hold in the grooves on the biting surfaces of the lower back teeth, where a brush bristle cannot reach into the fissure.

The decay was cleared and the teeth rebuilt in tooth-coloured composite, shaped to restore the original biting surface. Only the damaged tissue is removed; healthy tooth is kept.
